Gothenburg (Göteborg in Swedish) is the second biggest city in Sweden and it is located on the west coast. The metropolitan area is home to almost a million people, and it is growing.

One of the city areas that is currently being developed in Gothenburg is Masthuggskajen. New homes, restaurants, preschools, workplaces and hotels will be built here in the next couple of years. The connections to Majorna, Linné and Gothenburg's inner city will be improved and a promenade along the river will be built. Masthuggskajen will go from being a district with large parking areas and heavily trafficked streets, to instead becoming a place where people can meet and enjoy themselves.
